Narrow gauge I/C engine loco

Hi

I'm looking at building my first 7.25" gauge loco, which will be I/C powered with an Eaton transmission. Classic industrial loco styling where you sit sideways, approx 20" wide and 42" long

As this must have been done many times before, is there a basic construction plan for this type of loco? By plan not drawings, but thickness of plate for the chassis, diameters of axles, belt and chain ratios, for the engine/transmission/axle, etc?

Is there anywhere that does favourably priced Eaton transmissions???

Many thanks

Fang I have aLister drawn up you are welcome to the drawings, as for Eaton getting a reasonably priced one is not easy, I bought a old stock new one from eBay but that was just luck at the time. If the drawing are any use to you email me my details are in the Address Book
