TRAM PHOTO IN THE GALLERY

Nice tram in the gallery but there is no description about. In fact, would be nice to see details and drawings of it.

Hi Bill,
The tram is based at Thompson Park Miniature Railway, Burnley. The railway, operated by the Burnley & Pendle Miniature Railway Society, is 7 1/4" gauge; a number of members there are also in our 7 1/4" Gauge Society. The tram, built freelance by a late member, was refurbished last year with original Burnley Corporation livery applied. It is approx. 6' long and is petrol driven; there is a single central side-facing seat for the driver.
N.B. Not sure why the first gallery pic is sideways - rumour has it the local brew (favoured by photographers) is quite potent!
The more recently-posted pic shows the tram in its full glory.

Best Wishes,
Frank.
