Martyn,(or anyone else who visited), Please could you inform us,on how the event went overall? Were there as many visitors with locos., because with Harry's unfortunate death recently,(Bob's No.1 man), plus a few more missing due to old age etc. we thought it might not have been very easy to cope this time. We also noticed this time the public were admitted on both days, whereas in the past in September they came mainly on the Sunday. We thought Bob putting the railway & house up for sale, might have been because of losing Harry, a shortage of local support, plus Bob's age. My wife & I were very sorry to hear he was hoping to sell it all. We regarded it as the perfect railway set in a lovely place.

It was fabulous, 35 visiting locos on Saturday, event was as good if not better than ever, but with every one quoting Harry "don't stop on the points" so Harry was with us in spirit. Bob appears to only want to sell to someone who is going to take on the railway and next year's date were up on the board.

Here are a couple more videos of the now gone Comrie Railroad. The second one shows a great piece of enginemanship in keeping the whole train moving.
