Insurance

I'm just in the process of renewing my insurance for workshop, locos, and a small amount of rolling stock. I've always used Walker Midgely but wondered if any member could reccomend any other specialist insurer so that I can get a couple of quotations this year to compare with Walker Midgely?

I too would be interested as I have no insurance in place as yet for railway stuff at my French property. I have found 'Towergate' underwriting to be good, they are my present property insurer and more flexible for my needs than I could source with French companies

You will find that Walker midgley are now part of Towergate. You will find that all the model insurance comes back to one insurer with one basic scheme which has been worked to cover and suit our hobby.

I looked around and spoke to several companies but in the end went back with Walker Midgley as no one else seemed interested in even quoting for the same sort of cover.
