REDUCED FROM £5400.00 The Singapore 7¼" Steam Miniature Loco and Tender is a replica of a British Railways Era 5 Southern Railways Saddle Back Shunting locomotive. Built by Alec Tucker in Alderney, Channel Islands in 1992 as a miniature copy of the full-size engine used to move granite from the quarry to the harbour wall. The 0-4-0 locomotive features a two-rail system and comes in classic British Racing Green, complete with a tender for added realism. This project was shipped to the UK and completed at the Frimley and Ascot Locomotive Club, Frimley Green. The boiler has been professionally tested, with steam and hydraulic certificates available. Last tested in 2025, with further tests due in 2026 (steam) and 2029 (hydraulic), making it ready for club use and insurance. Maintained by qualified Farnborough RYE engineers, and only offered for sale as its owner is donating a larger Romulus locomotive to raise money for local charity. Ideal for garden railway projects or club transport—tender includes spare water tank and coal box. Condition is tidy and needs some TLC to bring to display standard, but overall very good. Never run on public days.
